It is very important to me that your cake tastes as stunning as it looks. All my bakes are freshly made from scratch in the Art of Cake kitchen (with a five star health and hygiene rating). I use the finest ingredients, and my flavoursome cakes are lovingly layered with home made buttercreams, conserves and curds. They are then finished with a luxurious layer of chocoate ganache before being iced with a thin layer of top quality fondant.

Wedding couples have the opportunity of a complimentary tasting session as part of their personal consultation. There will be a selection of tempting flavours to help you choose your favourites. Your amazing cake will delight your taste buds as well as your eyes!

 Signature Vanilla 

A light vanilla infused sponge, layered with vanilla bean buttercream or creamy white chocolate buttercream and seedless raspberry conserve.

Zesty Lemon 

A light zesty lemon sponge, layered with zingy lemon buttercream and lemon curd.

 Caramel/Salted Caramel Treacle 

An indulgent caramel sponge, layered with fluffy caramel buttercream and homemade caramel sauce. (If liked this can be salted caramel, which has a delicate salted flavour and bursts of little crunchy salt pieces.)

 Gingerbread and Apple 

A delicious traditional spiced gingerbread cake with small pieces of real apple fruit and stem ginger. Filled with your choice of either a caramel or a cinnamon buttercream.

 Tropical Lime and Coconut 

Sunshine on a plate! Fluffy coconut and lime zest sponge, filled with a zingy lime curd and coconut cream buttercream.

 Raspberry and White Chocolate 

Sweet delicious sponge, with real raspberry fruit pieces, filled with creamy white chocolate buttercream and your choice of either a tangy seedless raspberry conserve, or a real raspberry buttercream.

Date and Walnut 

A rich flavoursome cake with sweet, crunchy walnuts, layered with your choice of a warm ginger, a fluffy caramel or a zingy citrus buttercream.

Coffee / Coffee and Walnut 

Espresso coffee-infused sponge with (optional) sweet crunchy walnuts. Layered with creamy coffee buttercream.

 Cherry Bakewell 

A moist almond sponge with either glace or morello cherries, layered with cherry conserve and vanilla bean or creamy white chocolate buttercream.

 Ginger Treacle 

A light, but richly flavoured treacle sponge, with warm ginger and stem ginger. Layered with a luscious lemon buttercream.

 Rich Boozy Fruit 

Rich, dark and moist fruit cake with soaked fruit, matured for 3 months and covered in a natural marzipan layer.

 Spiced Carrot 

Luxury moist carrot sponge with brandy soaked sultanas (alcohol optional), sweet crunchy walnuts, coconut and spices. Layered with a fresh citrus buttercream.

 Chocolate Fudge 

A rich chocolate fudge sponge layered with a luxurious real chocolate buttercream.


Chocolate Fudge Variations

 Chocolate Orange

A classic winning combination of rich chocolate orange sponge layered with a chocolate orange buttercream.

 Chocolate Caramel

Rich chocolate sponge layered with decedent chocolate caramel buttercream and caramel sauce fillings.

 Chocolate Cherry

Rich chocolate sponge layered with chocolate buttercream and Morello cherry conserve fillings. Choice of glace or dried cherries can be added to the sponge if desired.


Rich chocolate sponge with a shot of espresso coffee. Layered with a chocolate and coffee buttercream filling.

 Chocolate Peppermint

Rich chocolate sponge flavoured with a fresh peppermint oil and filled with a minty dark chocolate buttercream.

 Chocolate Nutella
